Summaries vs. Transcripts
A forensic, meeting-by-meeting comparison of the official summaries against the raw transcripts for all 23 TSC meetings. Every meeting was fully read in both formats. 95% of meetings contained fabricated or misrepresented decisions. 85% had attendance record errors. Conflict and criticism were systematically sanitized.
Overall Finding
The summaries cannot be relied upon as factual accounts. They systematically inflate informal discussions into formal "decisions," fabricate attendance records including a phantom "TBC" Vice Chair, erase all substantive conflict and criticism, and strip technical complexity from the record. They benefit Intersect leadership and the status quo while harming accountability, institutional memory, and the Cardano community.
Patterns Across All 23 Meetings
Four consistent patterns emerge from the full comparison:
- Decision inflation and authority laundering: 19 of 20 meetings analysed (95%) contained at least one fabricated or misrepresented decision. Suggestions from individuals are consistently presented as committee decisions, with words like "agreed," "decided," or "confirmed" applied where no vote occurred.
- Attendance record fabrication: 17 of 20 meetings (85%) contained attendance errors. People listed as present who never spoke, specific absences claimed without evidence, and a phantom "TBC" Vice Chair role appearing in multiple summaries despite no such person existing.
- Conflict and criticism sanitization: Every instance of substantive disagreement is erased. Neil Davies' statements about the TSC being "emasculated," his censure of the board, Nicolas Biri calling discussions "stupid," and Neil's "$150 is bloody laughable" — all systematically removed.
- Technical complexity reduction: Critical warnings about Ouroboros-Leios unpredictability, node memory leaks, 150GB chain growth, and constitutional security vulnerabilities are routinely simplified or omitted entirely.

Fabricated / MisrepresentedAttendance list contains major errors: Adam Dean listed as attending but Kevin Hammond explicitly states "Adam, I think is traveling." Benjamin Hart listed as absent but actively participated in the transcript. Lorenzo Bruno listed as attending but never speaks or is mentioned. Action items include fabrications — Kevin's suggestion to "provide input to the IUR progress review" is presented as a formally agreed action. Duncan Coutts' personal advice to SPOs about slot battles is presented as committee advice.
OmittedCritical context about node production readiness debate: Alexander Moser forcefully corrected Benjamin Hart's claim that Amaru was in production — "It's a happy path that kind of works if configured for 4 hours straight, but it crashes upon every edge." TSC budget discussion about budget autonomy minimized. Meeting shortened for "layoffs monthly meeting" — context explaining rushed nature omitted.
Oct 8, 2025
Fabricated / MisrepresentedKevin Hammond and Adam Dean listed as Chair and Vice Chair despite Sebastian Nagel stating "no chairs around." Five specific action items fabricated from general discussion — only two actual commitments existed. Meeting presented as formal when it was explicitly an informal technical discussion: "It's more of a technical conversation on Leios."
OmittedNeil Davies' systems engineering concerns: "this is not good systems engineering and this is likely to cause issues" and "there is a non-trivial number percentage of applications for which this system is not fit for purpose." Historical performance data about Cardano Foundation canaries. Neil's concerns about asymmetric attack vectors in Linear Leios. Duncan's strategic concerns about the intermediate solution not moving toward true scalability.
Oct 15, 2025

Action items misattributed — Jonathan Kelly's communication proposal attributed to "Alexander/Terence/Jonathan." Gender discussion context sanitized.
OmittedA 20-minute pre-meeting discussion about TSC dysfunction completely erased: Neil Davies: "the Intersect and Mr. Hoskinson has emasculated the behavior of the TSC and everything we've tried to do has been shot down in flames." "Consensus" claimed on election term when Terence admitted "there was still some thoughts going each which way." Onboarding slide deck action item fabricated — Terence only asked for volunteers; no one accepted.
OmittedAdam Dean's damning critique of the hard fork justification: "We're not doing this because it's good for Cardano. We're doing this to meet a contract milestone and get paid. What?" Duncan Coutts agreed: "Yeah, that is a bit weird, isn't it?" Lack of quorum acknowledged but downplayed. Cardano Minnow CLI wallet abandonment — project in "stagnation" with "no active teams working on it."

Extended K parameter technical debate. Sebastian Nagel's attendance caveat about early departure.
Jan 21, 2026

Kevin's Intersect budget criticism: "it's not even obvious to me what critical press intersect would be managing." Leandros' push for community-driven initiatives.
Methodology
Every meeting was read in full in both formats: the official summary and the raw transcript. Claims in the summary were cross-referenced line by line against the transcript. The three categories used — Fabricated/Misrepresented, Omitted, and Broadly Accurate — reflect the degree of divergence from what was actually said. Direct quotes from transcripts are provided where they illustrate the gap most clearly.
